The Allied Telesis x930 series of Stackable Layer 3 switches deliver high performance, reliability and a resilient solution in the modern network environment. With features such as Ethernet Protection Switched Ring (EPSRing™), Virtual Chassis Stacking (VCStack™) up to 8 units, Autonomous Management Framework™ (AMF) and the additional option for 40Gb uplink/stacking ports, this switch is ideal for use in the Core and Distribution layer. With the security feature Active Fiber Monitoring (AFM) you are able to monitor the received optical power. When a small or abnormal change is detected on your fiber connections, you will receive an alarm and/or the connection is completely closed. With AFM you are able to signal a possible data tap and take immediate measures. Furthermore, the x930 series has extensive IPv6 functions, they are SDN ready and have the option to support Openflow v1.3. This makes these switches ready for the network requirements of the future! The x930-28GSTX features 24x 10/100/1000T and 24x 100/1000 SFP combo ports with 4x 10 Gigabit SFP+ uplinks and dual hot-swap power supplies for a fully redundant and flexible mix of fiber and copper connectivity. The power supply(s) must be ordered separately (AT-PWR150 / AT-PWR250).
